Auto Buckets will automatically offload your content to SimpleCDN from any HTTP server. Simply enter the URL or IP Address of your server when creating your Auto Bucket from the SimpleCDN Administrator , and requests for objects not currently in your bucket will be automatically offloaded from your server.

Objects deleted from your server will not be deleted from your bucket, allowing you to remove objects from your server once they are offloaded to your bucket.

Any changes or updates made to objects on your server will automatically be re-offloaded to your bucket, free of charge.

Please view your bucket properties from the SimpleCDN Administrator for detailed information on accessing your objects.

Only HTTP and HTTPS requests will trigger the offloading of a non-existant object in an Auto Bucket. If you are planning on streaming videos from your Auto Bucket, ensure that at least one request for the video file is made via HTTP to trigger the offloading process.

Query strings are ignored for all requests, so requests for myimage.jpg, myimage.jpg?1 and myimage.jpg?sessionid=7 will all result in the serving (and offloading) of myimage.jpg.
